I admire people like you who can stay away from home for so long and still smile...

...what the hell am I talking about? It's freezing in Australia and hot as a monkey's here in Greece. My admiration has evolved into respect and applause.

Home from home. Cakes are a little naughty but nice. Has books on island hopping, so if you happen to do absolutely no research before leaving England - which is what all 3 of us did - getting clued up on the Greek Islands is ideal. Off to Syros now!

I have to say I enjoyed playing chess. I am probably the first one to say this. I will probably never use the internet here so I can't complement it. This book is so loaded with compliments (I read it) I think I should give the First Idea: Add another chess set with different pieces (Don't get me wrong, I liked the pieces) for two reasons: 1. So two people can play at once. 2. So people can choose the pieces they like.

I will add the first critisism: the smoothies weren't to good. When you read this (if you do) don't think I have no respect. I do, I just tell the truth. People always say the good things. I just want to add some flavour. All in all it is a great place. I hope to come again. If I come back to greece this will probably be the first place I come. (See? I compliment also.) So to wrap it up. It is a great place.

PS. Excuse the handwriting.

Alex Petros, 9yr - Miami - 10 August 2006

Editor's Note - His sister got to have the strawberry smoothie - enough said! (See her comment below...)

I liked this place a lot. My favorite part was watching Alex and dad play chess. Both times daddy won. I [played] some of a game with him but we did not finish, so we tied. I had a nice time here, and I hope I come again. This was one of my favorite parts of my visit to Greece!

Your friend, Sophia Petros - Miami - 12 August 2006

Dear Carole & Geoff,

What lifesavers you have been to Michael and I in our "hour" of need! If we had to be stranded somewhere (with the broken foot) Naxos is a good place to be. The copier & the FAX are a great resource.
